The First Methodist Church of Greensboro Lake-Oconee Preschool offers nurturing care, Biblical teaching, and early childhood education for preschool children in an environment designed for young children and taught by loving, Christian instructors.

2023 Preschool Waiting List

We want to enhance the growth of the children in all areas of development: spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical. The morning includes a balance of individual and group activities, structured and free play, and teacher instruction both direct and guided. The program includes Bible stories and verses, parts of the Core Knowledge Curriculum, Music & Movement, Intro to Spanish, Library, Art, and a Fit Kids & Body Awareness Class.

We believe that God’s Word is foundational to learning about and living in our world, whatever our ages. Our desire is that our preschool families “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18.

Preschool Hours:

Drop off Time: 8 A.M. - 8:20 A.M.

Structured Class Time: 8:30 A.M. - 11:50 A.M.

Pick up Time: 11:50 A.M. - 12 P.M.

Pre-K

for older 3's & 4's -

(toilet training required)

(4 Days: Tuesday-Friday for 4 hours per day) $305 Registration Fee, $305 monthly tuition

*All four-year-old children are eligible for this class. If your older three-year-old qualifies, we will move the student automatically to this classroom.*

Three's Classes

TOILET TRAINING REQUIRED

(4 Days: Tuesday-Friday) $305 Registration Fee, $305 monthly tuition

*Three Year Old Classes will be divided by age, creating a Younger Three's and Older Three's Class.

Two’s Class

(3 Days: Tuesday-Thursday) $235 Registration Fee, $235 monthly tuition

(4 Days: Tuesday-Friday) $305 Registration Fee, $305 monthly tuition

*Two Year Old Classes will be divided by age, creating a Younger Two's and Older Two's Class.

TINY TOTS CLASS

15 months+ must be walking unassisted

(2 Days: Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday - $175 Registration Fee, $175 monthly tuition)

REGISTRATION

Availability is on a first come first serve basis.
ENROLLMENT: Final acceptance is subject to receipt of the completed online registration & registration fee payment. Upon completing the online registration forms, your child's account status will read as ''Submitted". Once your information is received and reviewed, your account will be charged and account status will read as “Approved.” Registration Fee is equal to one month's tuition and must be paid online via credit or debit card (A 2.95% processing fee will be charged) upon receiving invoice. Spaces will NOT be held. Registration Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE, no exceptions. Registration fee for new families includes (1) short sleeved spirit shirt, and (1) long sleeve spirit shirt, and (1) car sign. All students will have a $50 activity fee charged with September's tuition. This fee will cover special events and special visitors throughout the year. Registration payments not submitted within 24 hours of receiving enrollment invoice will result in registrant automatically dropping to the next available spot.

***CHILD MUST MEET AGE REQUIREMENT OF CLASS BY SEPTEMBER 1st***
TUITION & PAYMENT POLICY: Monthly Tuition is processed on the first day of each month. All families must be enrolled in our Brightweel Autopay System. Tuition is $305 a month for four days a week, $235 a month for three days a week and $175 a month for two days a week.
