I will sing to the Lord... 

"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." The opening words of Psalm 9 motivate us towards the goal of musical excellence at First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. Our music program provides opportunities for all persons to praise God with our music.

Children's Choir: Two Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday afternoons at the South Campus after F.I.S.H from September through May. Children age 3 - Kindergarten: room 156.  Children in 1st - 5th grade: choir room

Chancel Choir: We perform all styles of music. We rehearse each Wednesday night at the South campus from 6:30-8:00. and perform for Sunday morning worship services each Sunday.

Bell Choir: We have 5 octaves of Mallmark Handbells.  Rehearsal is each Monday at the South Campus Mondays from August through May at 6:00 –7:30. Some music reading is required and an interview with the director is requested.

Small Groups and Soloists: We welcome the talent of all who are interested in sharing their gift with our congregation!  Contact Put LaBarre for more information.
