First United Methodist Church of Greensboro

We currently have two circles in our United Methodist Women program, the Nelson Circle and the Chandler Circle.

The Nelson Circle.  The Nelson Circle is a group of Christian women working in fellowship for the glory of God, our church and our community through our time, financial gifts and our prayers. We meet on the third Monday of each month in our homes or in the Family Life Center at the church from September to May. Our activities include sponsoring a Wednesday Night Dinner, our annual Spring Fling style show and luncheon, helping with the Foster Children's program at Christmas and many other church and community related projects.

 The Chandler Circle.  The Chandler Circle is a group of women who support the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro, as well as local and international projects and missions. We meet the third Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 6pm in room 3 of the Family Life Center to share in fellowship, grow together spiritually, and plan service projects.

For the past several years, we have been studying amazing women of the Bible. Because this study's lessons do not draw from prior ones, don't let a missed meeting hold you back from coming. Join us any time you are available throughout the year.

Outreach programs include: Boswell Parker Nursing Home, Circle of Love Women's Shelter, children's books for the FUMC library, United Methodist Women National Missions and more.

Child care is provided, compliments of the Chandler Circle.
