Adult Christian Education Classes

Greensboro FUMC is enjoying another great year of Christian Education. Adult study is a vital component to our continued nurture and growth as Christians. You'll enjoy rewarding classes, growing relationships with other adults, opportunities for service, and feel more connected to the church.

Sunday School
We have four Adult classes that meet each Sunday at 10:00am. The Easter Class, Pairs and Spares, Faith in Action, and Lifesong Young Adult Class. (Click here for an overview of our adult Sunday School classes.)

Bible studies are typically offered during fall (September to December) and winter (January to May). Our studies draw from a variety of resources, though the DISCIPLE Bible Studies form a core part of our curriculum. Depending on the interest each year, we offer some year long courses from the Disciple Bible Study series. These courses last from 32 to 36 weeks. Other short term courses last from four to ten weeks. Courses are offered at various times and places throughout the week. Some courses are led by clergy and some are led by laity. All courses are open to the community.
